Sandy Creek CSD Fleet Fueling Station

What was the Challenge?

To build a state-of-the-art fueling system with three aboveground storage tanks, environmental monitoring and fuel management systems. The fueling system also includes a fueling island with a canopy to service the Sandy Creek Central School District as well as the Town of Sandy Creek’s equipment and fleet vehicles. The project also involved the closure and removal of an aging fueling station with underground storage tanks and limited access for single vehicle fueling only.

How did Barton & Loguidice provide a solution?

B&L partnered with King & King Architects as part of a Capital Improvement Project for the Sandy Creek Central School District to provide design, bidding, and construction oversight services for the fleet fueling station at the district’s new Bus Maintenance Garage. B&L worked with King & King and their team to locate the tanks and fueling island in an area to optimize fueling access for District and Town employees. B&L assisted with the closure and removal of the existing underground storage tanks.
