What was the Challenge?

B&L worked with Rockland County’s Division of Environmental Resources to analyze their current programs, provide guidance on upcoming environmental performance standards, and make recommendations on how to actively participate in two points-based grant programs: the Climate Smart Community Program (CSC) and NYSERDA’s Clean Energy Community Program (CEC).

How did Barton & Loguidice provide a solution?

B&L created an action strategy outlining all 118 actions as short-, medium-, and long-term goals for the County, advancing their vision for a green and sustainable future.

Why was the project a success?

Participation in the CSC and CEC will ultimately increase the County’s resilience to climate vulnerability and achieve significant reductions in greenhouse gas emissions and energy consumption.
