Mud Mills Road Bridge

What was the Challenge?

To make improvements on the existing 114-foot span pony truss bridge. This bridge is located on Mud Mills Road over the Ganargua Creek in the Town of Arcadia.

How did Barton & Loguidice provide a solution?

B&L worked with the Wayne County Public Works Department to improve the deteriorated steel stringer and floor beam members. The existing steel grate deck was replaced and the load posting was removed during this project. The extent of these improvements will extend the life of the bridge.

Why was the project a success?

This BridgeNY rehabilitation project extends the life of the bridge and removed the weight limit posting. The project was completed ahead of schedule and under budget.
