Senior Staff Engineer Tatyana Darius Joins B&L’s Albany Office

Barton & Loguidice (B&L) announces Tatyana Darius, has joined the Facilities Practice Area as Senior Staff Engineer in the firm’s Albany, NY office.
A current resident of Schenectady, NY, Darius received her degree from Alma-Ata Architecture & Civil Engineering University, Kazakhstan. She has 34 years of experience in civil engineering as a project designer and engineer.
As a Mechanical Engineer of the Facilities Division, Darius is responsible for preparing studies and designs for new systems and analyzes the operation of existing systems. Darius performs design-related tasks, including CAD, GIS, data analysis and calculations. She analyzes and summarizes data collected in the field; prepares plans and specifications; assists with or develops scopes, fee and hour estimates for projects; and design, engineering, and specifications for various mechanical and facilities engineering projects.
In addition to these skills, Darius has overseen system designs for municipal and retail buildings that include plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration and mechanical components. She has also overseen the design of various types and sizes of boiler systems. These systems have included direct-fired and low temperature hot water boilers for single and multiple fuel burner systems. These boiler systems have furnished heating supply for building space heating.
