Barton & Loguidice volunteers at Capital District Future City Competition

Barton & Loguidice sponsored the “Most Innovative Transportation Infrastructure” award at the Capital District Future City Competition on January 13, 2018. B&L’s Robert Sipzner, P.E. and Byron Raych, P.E. were both judges at the event.

The Future City Competition enables middle school students to create a futuristic city that solves a specific problem. This year, the challenge was to design a city that would allow senior citizens to be as independent and active as possible. The winning school has the opportunity to travel to Washington D.C. to compete in the national competition.
